Meetup by Letzgro Engineering Incubator Exceeds Expectations

Event Overview

Letzgro Engineering Incubator held the meetup Interactive Panel Discussion: VCs speak! How venture capital firms work, which brought VCs and startups of the Silicon Valley together and provided a great opportunity for them to discuss a whole array of questions about the VC world. The event was organized as a panel discussion and hosted by Letzgro CEO Ihor Pidruchny who managed to gather under one roof three prominent venture capitalists – Sanjit Dang (Investment Director at Intel Capital), Ashmeet Sidana (Managing Partner of Engineering Capital) and Gopi Rangan (former executive in USAA’s corporate venture group). Both the speakers and the participants pointed out in their feedback that the meetup was very useful as it raised many critical questions and the results of the panel provided a new perspective on building business strategies.

Letzgro Engineering Incubator

Starting Silicon Valley Startups Acceleration group was triggered by the activity of Letzgro Engineering Incubator. During the meetup, Ihor Pidruchny revealed how the idea of creating the Incubator came into being: “Not so long ago we were a dev shop in Eastern Europe, the clients came to us with their idea, we developed the app but after launch… pretty much, nothing happened. We were disappointed that they couldn’t achieve their business goals and, to tell the truth, we often knew from the beginning that they didn’t dedicate enough effort to marketing and the product itself and not just an app. We could see that good code and a great idea don’t ensure the success of the final product and we genuinely wanted to help them. So gradually we started building our market success department and very soon offered our marketing and sales services to our clients. Just like that we realized that we weren’t building applications anymore, we were building products, so we’ve grown into an incubator. The idea of organizing meetups was, first of all, necessary to help our existing clients understand all the domains and processes they need to cover in order to build a successful business and to be of some assistance to others too.” You may also explore Letzgro Engineering Incubator page to see how it functions and to check if your startup meets the criteria to be able to apply for a slot in it.
