The best way to start a week is to read a cool review of the most popular chatbots on the Internet. You may think about Mitsuku, Jabberwacky, Visjar, Cleverbot, and Hi Poncho. However, we’ve already been talking about them. Below you can find the video with our review of these chatbots. This time, I’m going to review chatbots that are more than popular. They are even more than just chatbots online. Each of them has something special: look, language, or even location.
Writing about online chatbots, I usually mean virtual assistants that help you carry out a certain task by simply chatting. With chatbots, you may get the weather forecast, order flowers, buy new shoes, or even promote your business using such platform as Facebook Messenger and some messenger programs. In this post, we’ll have a look at chatbots that are created for just communicating. Thus, they are relatively clever, funny, and interesting. Let’s start with reviewing advanced online chatbot avatars:
These chatbots are similar as they can talk, smile, and tell jokes. There are also some things that make these artificial intelligence website chatbots different.
If you want to understand what Evie is, just type “Evie bot” in YouTube search and you’ll get thousands of videos featuring vloggers, bloggers, and Youtubers chatting with this beautiful girl. Evie is an advanced AI created by Rollo Carpenter and Existor. Before answering a question, Evie searches for the information in its database. This is the same database Cleverbot uses.
Evie fascinates users with her facial expressions, movements, and of course, lip syncing.
Now Evie’s developers are working on short term memory creation for their chatbots. They also investigate machine learning. Planning to provide Evie and her fellow online chatbot avatars with a short memory, developers are going to make chatbots’ interactions with people human-like and personalized.
Chimbot and Willbot
Evie was the first online chatbot created by Existor. Now there are other bots to chat with: Chimbot, Boibot, Willbot, and Pewdiebot. Chimbot is the chimp that lives somewhere in the rainforest. This artificial friend talks like a clever chimpanzee that can tell jokes and think. However, it’s still a chimp. Willbot is a learning artificial intelligence chat program that talks with you on behalf of William Shakespeare. Using the same giant database Cleverbot and Eviebot do, Willbot’s answers aren’t much different than those provided by the previously mentioned chatbots. However, Willbot uses Shakespearean language, turning every dialogue into the masterpiece of literature.
Boibot is Evie’s male version. This artificial intelligence online chatbot is an interesting talking character. Sometimes dialogues with Boibot are great – its answers make sense. Sometimes, Boibot doesn’t understand your question or just can’t find the answer in the database. Then it provides meaningless answers just for shunting the conversation on another topic.
So what are the main advantages of using such online chatbots as Chimbot, Eviebot, Boibot, and Willbot?
- The ability to carry on a conversation.
- The ability to react using face expressions.
This makes the online interaction livelier and more human-like. When these chatbots speak, their mouths are moving. They can wink, smile, frown, etc.
- A text-to-speech feature.
You can chat with these chat robots, using only your voice. A built-in speech recognition makes your communication even easier.
This is one of the latest and most popular online chatbots. Pewdiebot is a collaboration product of Pewdiepie, the most subscribed YouTuber, and Existor, the creator of Eviebot and all the fellow online chatbot avatars. Pewdiebot is funny and clever. It has got facial expressions and Pewdiepie-like mimics.
As Felix Kjellberg has stated in one of his videos, he spent a lot of time recording different answers. However, it was worth the result. Pewdiebot chats with you using not only Felix’s humor, but also his voice. Pewdiepie’s fans will enjoy talking to their idol, while all AI lovers will like trying out a new AI bot.
Rose is a product of the collaboration of T Brand Studio, The New York Times, and UBS. This AI chatbot is unpredictable. Having a certain personality, Rose turns out to be an interesting talk partner. This AI doesn’t use the image of someone’s face. It doesn’t have facial expressions.
There is no text-to-speech feature. However, this online chatbot may tell a lot about AI, even though Rose states she is a human. To tell the truth, Rose’s responses are clever and human-like. Chatting with Rose doesn’t provide you with a feeling that you are talking to a machine.
Google Earth is a platform that allows you traveling across the world staying at home. You can explore the ocean, have a look at the most popular tourist attractions in 3D, view photographs of cities at the time when your grandparents were young, and even explore other planets. Google Earth has some secrets that make using it even more enjoyable. For example, looking on Mars, you may meet Meliza. Meliza is a Martian. Meliza is an online chatbot. Are you already excited about talking to it?
Meliza is cool because it talks as if this is a robot living on Mars. It knows everything about this planet and is ready to share this valuable information with you. Its social skills aren’t of the best quality. Meliza can’t answer all your questions. Usually, it just rephrases your messages. Nevertheless, it’s still one of the most interesting online chatbots you should talk to.
Every day I read awesome new articles about chatbots and AI development. Moreover, every day our company works on bringing clever chatbots into life. Have you got any questions? Want us to make more cool reviews of online chatbots? Stay tuned. Let’s make this world AI-friendly.
